You need JavaScript enabled to view it Rasika Kalamegham, PhD, serves as a Science Policy Analyst at Friends of Cancer Research (Friends), a Washington D.C, based non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the nation’s progress toward prevention and treatment of cancer by educating the public and members of congress. Prior to joining Friends Rasika was a Burroughs-Wellcome Science Policy Fellow at Research!America. Dr. Kalamegham obtained her PhD at The Pennsylvania State University. She subsequently underwent post-doctoral training at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Her background spans genetics, evolutionary biology, developmental biology and stem-cell biology. She is published in several basic research journals and has been lead author of a text-book chapter.
